Project Description:

z/OS Batch Specialist is member of operational team and will interact with internal clients who are mostly application developers. You will be responsible that our customers getting the required z/OS designs and implementations in time

Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for the design and implementation of z/OS batch systems

- Review requirements as supplied by development

- Design batch systems

- Code job control and scheduler definitions

- Provide consultancy to application teams about all aspects of our batch processes

- Prioritize your own workload and work with minimal supervision

- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external global partners

- Develop relationships with global teams

- Create technical documentation

Skills Required:

- Good understanding of z/OS

- Strong analytical skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of JCL and IBM utilities

- Experience of change and incident management

- Microsoft Office

- Good written and spoken English
